Before you look for support, remember one rule: real support waits for you in the app; fake support comes looking for you.
Where is OKX live chat?
- App: Profile → Help center / Live chat, or the support icon at the top right of the home screen.
- Website: the live chat button at the bottom right of the page.
- You’ll reach a chatbot first. Type “agent” or choose to talk to a human to join the queue.
- Ask while logged in, so the agent can see your account issue and help faster.
OKX live chat is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Does OKX have a customer service phone number?
The contact options listed in the OKX Help Center are live chat in the app and on the website, plus tickets or emails sent from your registered email. We have not seen OKX publish a support hotline for regular users.
A caller claiming to be “OKX support” or the “security team” who says your account is linked to money laundering and must move funds to a “safe account” is running a classic scam. Hang up and check your account in the app yourself.
How long do OKX support tickets take, and how to write one
For issues live chat can’t solve (account recovery, appealing a freeze, a missing deposit), you’ll be asked to submit a ticket. Replies usually come by email or in-app message; complex cases can take several business days.
- Say it all at once: when it happened, which coin and how much, the TXID (on-chain transaction hash) and screenshots.
- Use your registered email, not a different address or someone writing for you.
- One issue per ticket. Submitting again puts you back in the queue.
- Note your ticket number; live chat can chase it for you.

Real or fake support? Use OKX official verification
The OKX app has an “Official verification channel” feature: paste in a website, email address, Telegram or X account and it tells you whether it’s an official OKX channel.

Unhappy with the outcome? How to complain
Tell live chat you want to make a complaint or escalate, and give your ticket number. Stick to facts: when it happened, the amount, what you’ve already done and the outcome you want. Long emotional messages only slow things down.
In some regions OKX operates through locally licensed entities, and users there can also raise issues with the relevant regulator under local rules. Using an offshore platform where local law doesn’t allow it leaves you without that protection, so think about this in advance.

No, they won’t contact you there first. If someone on a messaging app says they’re OKX support, check them in the app’s “Official verification channel”.
03Support asked for my Google Authenticator code. Should I give it?
No. Never give a verification code, password or seed phrase to anyone, including someone who says they’re support.
04What is the OKX support email?
Use the email address listed on the official OKX website, and write from your registered email. You can check whether a “support email” you received is genuine by looking for your anti-phishing code.
05I can’t log in. How do I reach support?
The app login screen and the website footer both link to the Help Center and live chat, so you can ask without logging in.
